Mr. Shanaka Rabel

Mr. Shanaka Rabel, a professional engineer, identifies himself through a synthesis of three key characteristics: dedication to embracing and embodying human values, demonstrating a strong commitment to "being human" and fostering collaboration and positivity within teams; an engineering mindset that allows him to visualize challenges and devise solutions by integrating human potential, processes, methodologies, and technologies; and finally, a leadership mindset focused on unlocking the full potential of his teams.

With 23 years of corporate experience in digital technology solutions, transformational consulting, corporate leadership, and mentoring, Mr. Rabel has contributed to various industries, including software design and development, telecommunications, enterprise architecture, transformational consulting, software service delivery, and apparel manufacturing.

In his role as Group Chief of Digital and Transformation at Stretchline Holdings Limited, Mr. Rabel is responsible for establishing and operationalizing the Group's digital vision and advancing the organization towards becoming a mature smart organization. By leveraging the capabilities of Industry 4.0, data analytics, process automation, frictionless collaboration, and secure API integration, he drives the successful implementation of this vision.

Mr. Rabel holds a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, is an Associate Member of CIMA (UK), has obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from Sheffield University (UK), and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
