ICTA has signed the MoU with the Department of Government Factory to implement the system to optimize the operations of the Department, with enhanced functions of existing systems. Once the solution is successful, planning to showcase the system and implement it to the similar government organizations by minimizing duplication.
The proposed solution plans to Implement a single system to optimize the operations of the Department, with enhanced functions of existing systems; Factory Management System (FMS), Accounting System (CIGAS) and Payroll System (GPS) through a selected service provider. Further proposed solutions will increase efficiency and effectiveness of the functions and services of the Department, allowing the cross-functional operations and monitoring on defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the Department.
ICTA responsibility is to collaborate with the Department during the Project conceptualizing, implementation and live operation while cooperating with the Vendor during the Project as well. Further ICTA will be facilitating technical consultation, procurement advisory and project sustainability.
Eng. Mahinda Herath (CEO), Sameera Jayawardana (Head of Transformation) and Chamendra Thilanka Perera (Specialist Adoption and Inclusion) participated from ICTA and Eng. K.P Wathuge, Mr. T.A.L. Abeywardhana and Mr. Lahiru participated from the Department of Government Factory to sign the MoU.
