Industry Validation Session | District Digital Readiness Index

In collaboration with the Department of Census and Statistics, ICTA has accomplished the formulation of the District Digital Readiness Index (DDRI) for the regional ecosystem assessment. On the 4th of August, 2023, an industry validation session for DDRI was successfully conducted at the ICTA auditorium, with the participation of 40 key stakeholder organizations.

This marks the first-ever introduction of a location-based index of this nature in the country, and it is expected to play a crucial role in driving inclusive digital transformation. By ensuring fair distribution of digital technology benefits across the nation, we believe it will pave the way for a more equitable future.

In line with DDRI, we are working on thoughtfully designed, inclusive action plans for each district, aiming to minimize digital disparities. These plans will be implemented through the District Digital Transformation Committees, all working together towards achieving our goal.
