District Digital Transformation Committee (DDTC) - Anuradhapura

The inaugural consultative meeting for the formation of the District Digital Transformation Committee (DDTC) in Anuradhapura District took place on the 10th of August, 2023, at the Anuradhapura District Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by the District Secretary and attended by over 50 key officials from relevant sectors and organizations. Representatives from the Government, Higher Education, Education, Vocational, Youth & Women, Startups, Freelancers, and ICTA participated in the meeting. 

Initiated by ICTA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, and Local Government, the Ministry of Technology, District Secretariats, and Industry Associations, the DDTC will serve as a key mechanism to effectively and efficiently reach people at the grassroots level, facilitating the dissemination of technologies within the district.
